Liana Teixeira, Deputy Managing Editor
Liana is VTDigger’s deputy managing editor. Originally from Connecticut, she began her journalism career there, working for Hearst as a managing editor and holding several newsroom leadership roles. She later served as assistant managing editor at Business Insider and most recently worked as an editor and recruiter in Virginia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of New Haven.
