Corey McDonald, Education Reporter
Corey McDonald is VTDigger’s education reporter. He previously covered the Champlain Valley for the Vermont Community Newspaper Group, which publishes The Other Paper, the Shelburne News and The Citizen. Before moving to Vermont, he spent four years covering Hudson County, New Jersey, first for The Jersey Journal and NJ.com and later for Hudson County View. His work has won several awards from the New Jersey Press Association and from the New England Newspaper & Press Association. He graduated from West Virginia University where he studied journalism.
