Greta Solsaa, Southern Vermont Reporter
Greta Solsaa is the Southern Vermont Reporter for VTDigger. Born and raised in Rutland, she began her journalism career with an environmental reporting internship at the Community News Service. After graduating from the University of Vermont, she spent a year freelancing for Vermont publications and serving as Outreach Coordinator and Research Writer for the Center for Community News, an organization dedicated to supporting student journalism as a salve for local news deserts. Greta’s background also includes work in politics and activism, interning in the office of former Senator Patrick J. Leahy (D-VT) and with organizations such as Amnesty International USA and the Peace & Justice Center.
