Tracking Vermont v. Trump
VTDigger is tracking Vermont Attorney General Charity Clark’s growing list of lawsuits, together with her counterparts in other states, filed against President Donald Trump’s administration. The legal action, in federal courts across the country, started just days into Trump’s second term.
This page includes details on each case in which the state of Vermont is a plaintiff and amicus briefs in which the state has taken a lead role. There are also links to court filings and to the definitions of key legal terms. Additional amicus briefs, statements and guidance letters related to federal actions can be found on the Vermont Attorney General’s website.
Our reporters will update the tracker below when new legal challenges are announced and as the lawsuits that are already underway make their way through the courts.
